A long travelling day yesterday leaving Hotel Dismal at 14.30 and arriving in London around 22.00 and then 30 minutes waiting for a taxi in Heathrow, at the end of a long queue, driving to Bredonborough & arriving at 01.50. In bed to join a Sleeping Horse at 02.40.

Tasty Pears ripening, waiting --

So: 1. Robert Fripp - It was short (thank god). My mum asked me: "Is that guy playing?"

18.20 Oh no. I'm back to find that the joinery job, of fitting shelves & drawers in the Music Room, has been royally screwed up. So now I have no functioning Music Room in World HQ and the prospect of joiners returning to re-fit while I'm in residence. I don't understand why something has been built that I did not ask for, and which prevents me using the shelves for the purpose intended?

My Wife found it not very funny: she suggested it was too close to her own experience filming tv programmes over the past 10 years.
